The forgotten army is a web series which is about Azad Hind Fauj which was created by Neta Ji Subash Chandra Bose but that army somewhere got lost in pages of history. Here is the forgotten army review.
Story starts with retired army officer Surinder Sodhi ( MK Raina ) meeting his family in Singapore. Sodhi is one of the soldier of Azad Hind Fauj which fought against British army for India’s freedom. Sodhi narrates the tale of Azad Hind Fauj to his grandson Amar played by karanvir Malhotra.
Sodhi and his men were asked to surrender in front of Japanese army in Singapor and now together they have plans of liberating India from Britishers by training and sending more Indian soldiers to fight in their country. From here they start their journey to get India free from Britishers.
Overall its a nice story which is with the intention to paint a tribute to tha INA. In this story it showed how INA didn’t discriminate between the races while recruiting soldiers. All you need to be was an Indian. They have also showed how the Rani Jhansi Regiment become world first women army and how they fought together with men army against Britishers.
In final verdict you can say that overall its a nice story but as it has only five episodes which is not enough to cover the brave history of INA.
